ane loving cup butter (room temperature)
1¼ cups granulated sugar
iii egg YOLKS
ii teaspoons vanilla extract
2½ cups all piece of job flour
ane teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon cream of tartar
extra carbohydrate to whorl cookies inward earlier baking
Cream ane loving cup of butter amongst 1¼ cups of granulated sugar; add together the egg yolks too vanilla too shell until smooth.
Add the flour, baking soda too cream of tartar, shell until smooth.
Form dough into balls (about the size of a small-scale walnut) too whorl inward granulated sugar. Place on parchment lined cookie canvas (or canvas sprayed amongst cooking spray). DO NOT FLATTEN.
Bake at 350F for 10-11 minutes, or until tops are cracked too merely starting to plough golden. Carefully take to cooling rack. Makes iii dozen.
NOTE: Due to egg yolk size differences (and so amount of liquid differences), if your cookie dough seems a niggling dry, mix inward a tablespoon of water.
