The other day, Judy from Mennonite Girls Can Cook posted a uncomplicated lilliputian recipe for a fruit salad dressing that is just what I've been searching for (they bring the greatest recipes over there). Influenza A virus subtype H5N1 cooked pineapple flavored whipped cream dressing that I only had to try.
1/4 loving cup pineapple juice
1/4 loving cup fresh lemon juice
2 eggs
1/4 loving cup saccharide
1 loving cup whipping cream (+1/4 loving cup saccharide - my tweak)
Beat the eggs until smooth, thence stir inwards saccharide together with juices. Cook over medium rut until thickened (stirring constantly). Chill
Just earlier serving, whip the whipping cream until rigid peaks shape together with crimp it into the chilled pineapple mixture. Fold the dressing into the salad or serve on the side.
NOTE: The recipe, equally written, is ALMOST on the verge of tart (for our tastes), thence I added 1/4 loving cup of saccharide to the whipping cream earlier I whipped it. The additional saccharide produces a dressing that is ALMOST verging on sweetness (definitely non likewise sweet). Here is my suggestion: When the cooked business office of the dressing has chilled, gustation it...if yous similar it, don't add together whatsoever extra saccharide together with only crimp it straight into the whipped cream.
If yous would similar the in conclusion dressing to move a lilliputian sweeter, add together the extra saccharide to the whipping cream earlier yous whip it, thence crimp the 2 together. Does that brand sense?
NOTE: This pineapple whipped cream is super light, fluffy together with creamy, it would move non bad on only close anything (I innovation on using it on pound cake). I also bring plans for substituting orangish juice for the pineapple juice together with making an orangish flavored whipped cream. TONS of possibilities here!
