Well, several years ago, I got serious close my goal (to simulate a pizzeria means pizza sauce) and started experimenting in 1 trial again (poor husband). Some were besides garlic-y; around were besides onion-y; around were besides oregano-y; etc.

COMMERCIAL PIZZA SAUCE !!

scant 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon chocolate-brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
scant 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves
pinch dark pepper
1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds (don't exit out - encounter note)
pinch cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
