Best E'er Strawberry Topping

This topping rates five out of five stars for an H2O ice cream topping, merely it is also DELICIOUS over pancakes, pound cake, cheesecake too correct out of the outrage amongst a large spoon!! It is dainty too thick too brilliant cerise (not a hint of watery-ness........is that a word?)

It is economical to make for a large crowd too it keeps good inwards the refrigerator for a duet of weeks.

Only TWO ingredients!!

2 pounds of frozen strawberries

1 loving cup of sugar

I purchase large bags of mass frozen strawberries from our local discount store. I allow them thaw for almost 1/2 hr or so, too thus I pulse them inwards the nutrient processor several times until yous larn a fairly modest dice.

Add i loving cup of sugar, stir too position it inwards a heavy bottom kettle (heavy bottom kettles aid it ready merely non scorch). Cook on medium high estrus until yous larn a practiced boil going, too thus plough downwards the estrus to a medium low boil too ready for xx minutes, stirring every few minutes.

After xx minutes, take away from estrus too skim off whatsoever pinkish foam. That's it!! Chill inwards the refrigerator earlier using. Makes four cups of topping.
